Count Community Votes To Decide The Pools Fate.
Nov 13th Association Meeting Report
Written by Sara Haxton
This meet was held on Thursday, November 13th at 6:30pm. The
topic of the meeting was to count the votes on the pool. There are 218 total
households in the Hamlet with only 176 eligible to vote. Of these 176
ballots sent out 2 were returned unopened and 109 households voted. The
count of the votes was 91 to open the pool and 18 to permanently close the
pool. Because of the results of this vote the pool will be repaired and be
opened for the summer of 2009. Also discussed was the need for a Grounds
committee and an Insurance committee. The Grounds committee will be in
charge of finding a landscaping service to care for the common areas of the
Hamlet. The Insurance committee will be charged with finding the best
insurance for the Hamlet. Volunteers are still needed to fill these and
other roles in the Hamlet. To see all the positions open visit the web site
